1. Who runs Naples Boat Rental?

We are a local, family-run pontoon rental company in Naples, Florida. Our guests are families, friends and visitors who want an easy, comfortable way to explore Naples Bay, Marco Island and the Southwest Florida coast. Well-behaved pets are welcome too.

2. Where do rentals depart from?

Every rental leaves from our dock in the Bayshore area of Naples, a short and scenic ride from Naples Bay, the mangrove channels and the Gulf. It is an easy drive from anywhere in Naples or Marco Island. Call or text us for directions.

3. Do I need a license to drive the pontoon?

Florida does not issue boating licenses. However, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 who operates the boat must carry one of the following:

• A Florida Boating Safety Education ID card
• An approved (NASBLA) boater course card from another state or Canada
• A Florida Temporary Certificate

Don’t have one yet? Ask us and we will point you to the approved online course before your rental.

4. I have never driven a boat. Can I still rent?

Yes, no experience is needed. Before you leave the dock, we give you a full orientation on driving the boat, the safety equipment and local rules, so first-time captains feel confident.

5. How many people fit on each boat?

Our four pontoons carry between 9 and 15 guests:

• 2023 Sun Tracker: up to 9
• 2024 Godfrey Gray: up to 12
• 2025 Godfrey Blue: up to 13
• 2025 Godfrey Cherry: up to 15

Our 2027 Sea-Doo GTX 170 jet ski carries up to 3 riders.

6. Are the boats a good fit for kids?

Absolutely. Pontoons are stable and roomy, and we provide life jackets for every passenger, including properly sized vests for children.

7. What comes with my rental?

Every pontoon rental includes:

• A clean, well-maintained pontoon
• Fuel and cleaning
• All U.S. Coast Guard required safety equipment and a life jacket for every passenger
• A pre-departure safety and navigation briefing

Popular add-ons: a captain on request, rental insurance for $45 (highly recommended), a cooler with ice for $25, approved pets for $25, and the all-day jet ski package for $450.

8. Can we bring food, drinks or alcohol?

Yes. Bring your snacks, lunch and drinks. Alcohol is allowed in line with Florida boating laws. For everyone’s safety, please leave glass containers at home.

9. Can my dog come along?

Yes. Approved, well-behaved pets are welcome for a $25 pet fee. Please keep them supervised at all times. Any damage or extra cleaning caused by a pet is the renter’s responsibility.

10. What are your rental rates and times?

Half-day rentals are 4 hours (8am–12pm or 1pm–5pm). Full-day rentals are 8 hours (8am–4pm or 9am–5pm).

• 2023 Sun Tracker: $400 half day / $600 full day
• 2024 Godfrey Gray: $450 half day / $650 full day
• 2025 Godfrey Blue: $500 half day / $700 full day
• 2025 Godfrey Cherry: $500 half day / $700 full day

Fuel and cleaning are included with every pontoon rental.

11. How do I hold my reservation?

A 20% deposit by credit card confirms your date and boat. The remaining balance can be paid in cash.

12. Can I rent a jet ski?

Yes. Our new 2027 Sea-Doo GTX 170 seats up to 3 riders and rents from 1 to 8 hours, fuel included:

• 1 hour: $139
• 2 hours: $239
• 3 hours: $339
• 4 hours: $439
• 8 hours: $550

Already renting a pontoon? Add the jet ski for the whole day for $450.

13. Do you have weekly pontoon rentals?

Yes. A 7-day pontoon rental is $3,500 plus tax for up to 15 guests, with one tank of fuel and cleaning included. We deliver the boat free of charge to your home or dock in Naples or Marco Island at the time you choose. Optional insurance is $250 per week.

14. Can you provide a captain?

Yes, captains are available on request. Call or text 239-526-6575 and we will set it up.

15. What if the weather turns bad?

Your safety comes first. If conditions in Naples or Southwest Florida become unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule or make other fair arrangements.

16. What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 48 hours before your rental and it is refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours of the rental are non-refundable. You will receive the full cancellation terms when you book.

17. What should we bring?

• A valid photo ID
• Your Boating Safety card, if required
• Sunscreen, sunglasses and hats
• Towels, food and drinks

18. Can you suggest where to go?

Of course. Ask us about calm cruising routes, quiet beaches, Keewaydin Island and the best spots to look for dolphins. We are happy to help you plan the day.

19. How early should I book?

As early as you can, especially for weekends, holidays and the winter season. Popular dates in Naples and Marco Island fill up fast.
